It certainly does have that slight “dustiness” that seems to be one of the hallmarks of Tennessee whiskeys but where I find this characteristic to be overbearing in a lot of Jack Daniels products, I find it to just add a nice bit of character to this bottle. I don’t really have a thorough rating system like some of you on here, but suffice it to say I genuinely enjoyed this. They’re also apparently doing a lot of great work in their community which is largely what led me to want to support them by trying a bottle out. Nearest employs Victoria Eady Butler as its Master Blender, who is the great-great-granddaughter of Nathan Green. Green helped make a mainstay of the Tennessee whiskey producing process.
